Hotel California

When we first arrived it seemed that I heard it everywhere. Now, as we get ready to leave I'm hearing it everywhere again. In the last three days I've heard it three times - on Wednesday in Juvenilja, on Thursday somewhere I can't remember, on Friday at an open air festival in Mother Tereza Square. The latter was a kind of ersatz reggae version - pleasingly different.

I tried it once myself at Flares on karaoke night, but I couldn't hit the high notes. Maybe I ought to give it one more go.

Well, it happens to me everytime with a song of Nick Cave, "In my arms", (that's weird 'cause it isn't popular like the Eagles hit)... I think it could be some kind of an unexplored syndrome, maybe a sort of "Oh-my-God-two years-already-passed!- syndrome"...

p.s. I'm serious, it happened to me at least twice, in Sweden and US.

By the way...you know that Albania is literally "the land of the Eagles"...
Thereby Hotel California should be considered a sort of national anthem?

If you do decide to serenade the patrons of Flares with your rendition of Hotel California, please let me know. I might make a special trip up for that. We've tried some classic rock songs there before. The crowd wasn't so into it. I'm sure our less than stellar voices didn't help either.
