Concerts

There are quite a few concerts coming up in the next few days. There seem to be many more this summer than last. These three are the main ones for the next week.

Tomorrow, 30 June, at the Dinamo stadium Schiller is playing with Alban Skenderaj.

On 4 July there is a choice between Sean Paul at the Qemal Stafa stadium and Mustafa Sandal at the Dinamo stadium.

I had never heard of either of these people so for anyone who is as uninformed as I was before I checked google, Mustafa Sandal is big in Turkey, and Sean Paul is, according to his website, 'the worldwide ambassador of dancehall reggae.'

well, no clue who Mustafa Sandal is but trust me, we know Sean Paul, the Jamaican Jew who reinvented dancehall.
He probbably saw footage from G.W.Bush visit and decided to give a show. Ya mon!

Sean Paul in Albania - really a surprise!

I've seen him live at Vienna last summer at some free festival, you shouldn't miss it if you like reggae, hiphop and dancehall - great party. How much are the tickets, I'm thinking of going again?

Mustafa Sandal is some kind of Turkish turbofolk-in-disguise as far as I know, but i recon it can be a good fun, i dunno.

I don't listen to hip-hop or rnb. It gives me headache. I change the channel when those songs start, but i like Sean Paul. I don't understand what he says because he has some accent. I just think that the music has rhythm and it always makes me get up and dance. I put up the volume and start dancing even in the car when they play his songs on the radio.
I have heard Mastafa Sandal as a name but i don't know which are his songs now. Everyone will go to Sean Paul, Mustafa should change his concert date.

I WILL GO AFTER 2 HOURS IN THIS CONCERT..THE TICKETS ARE 2000 LEK...APROX 20 EUR...TO CHEAP FOR AN CONCERT LIKE THIS..NO?...I LOVE SEAN PAUL...HE'S GREAT!!!!!LET'S GET BUSY PEPLEEEE:D

Guys I just met him and made a foto with him and also got an autograph. Now I will go to the concert. Mustafa Sandal is having his concert on the 24th I think.

It makes sense to rearrange the other concert. It's hard to see how he could compete. I've been listening to Sean Paul all night drifting on the wind across the city. I hope you all enjoyed it.

I was in the Sean Paul concert. It was really great. My son ( 14 y) loves his style of dancing. It was difficult to understand his english but anyway I think that is was GREAT!!!

Thnaks to Charl's bistro for this concert.

Another article on religion in Albania appeared yesterday. Patrick Poole, writing in the American Thinker , argues that Saudi funding for the construction of mosques and the training of imams is a threat to Albania, since these mosques and imams reflect the fundamentalist interpretation of Islam dominant in Saudi Arabia.
