Thanks to Albanian friends we found yet another superb restaurant. This one, Dy Kitarrat, is in Durres. We skipped the pizza and had plate after plate of superb fresh seafood washed down with good Sicilian wine. We also had live music from the two brothers who own the place and some of their friends. Highly recommended.

As best as I can describe it, coming from Tirana you take the right hand exit for Durres and follow the road until you come to the railway station. Turn left there and head down the road that takes you past the port and along the sea front.
Keep going until you are past the fairground and big statue. A little further on there is an entrance way on the left to the restaurant which is set a little way back off the road.
When will we have our postal codes and exact adresses? It was something like late 2008.
Last time I asked for directions during my visit. They told me- It's at Gjykata Vjeter. I was like-Une nuk di Gjykata Re forget Gjykata Vjeter. LOL
