The nude photos were published in Gazeta Sot. Just a cheap attempt really by Berisha and his loonies to try and provoke Rama.

I don't see what the big deal with the nude pictures is.

But apparently, Rama is gaining popularity as a result of the publication of these photos.
Polls shows a 4% increase in support for Rama, one day after the publication of the pictures. :)

Thanks for the info Genc. I was wondering were to find polling information. Has Rama been ahead throughout the campaign?

You are welcome. Yes Rama has been ahead throughout the campaign.

Before the publication of the pictures the support for Rama was about 55% (according to some unofficial polls). Yesterday the support jumped to 60%.

I have a problem with those polls. I think it is very unprofessional the way they use terms like...the polls have shown....please show me the polls!!!! I know of one at peshkupauje, but more than half the people that have voted there are not going to be able to vote, because they are not in Albania.

ummm,

last sunday the british newspapers published stories about David Cameron (the opposition leader) using drugs when at high school.

funny enough nobody blamed Tony Blair for the publication.

upss.. thats Britain by the way not Albania...

Big in Albania

Ask me how much I knew about Albania before coming here and my list would be a short one: Enver Hoxha, bunkers and Sir Norman Wisdom. I have no idea when or how I acquired this extensive body of knowledge, but the association of Norman Wisdom with Albania was by far the most interesting part of it. I remember watching Norman Wisdom's old films on British television. My parents were fans of his wholesome, slapstick comedy, but apparently missed the ideological significance of Pitkin's relationship with Mr Grimsdale. Pitkin, the downtrodden and oppressed representative of the workers, triumphed every time over his capitalist oppressor, Mr Grimsdale - and he got the girl.
